Ideogram

Ideogram was conceived as a montage film in the Spring 2010 Film Form course. I wanted to express the beauty and inherent conflict at a specific time of day and night. Through recurring motifs and themes, Ideogram gets progressively darker as night rolls in. The film was shot throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan with a Bolex camera on 16mm.
